Clear Stone and Drainage Gravel

Clear stone has no fines in it, so water passes straight through. That is what you want behind a retaining wall, around weeping tile, under a slab that must stay dry, in a French drain or as a septic bed. Three quarter inch clear and HL6 are the everyday drainage and concrete stones. Two inch clear handles soft ground and construction entrances. Gabion stone fills baskets and rock drains, and rip rap is the large stone placed on shorelines, ditches and culvert outlets to stop erosion.
